Most people want to be within 1 hour of the cultural hub and job centers of the Greater Phoenix area, but that is only the beginning of where the views start to come alive in the Valley of the Sun. The views get better the further out you go! Newer homes are always in high demand while previously lived in homes take a little longer to sell due to the “personal preference” choices that are made during building.

Decent lots in the Northeast areas including: Scottsdale, North Phoenix, Carefree, Cave Creek, Dynamite Mountain and Fountain Hills start at about $500k. In the Southeast areas including: Mesa, Gilbert, Chandler, Queen Creek, Apache Junction, Gold Canyon and Ahwatukee – lots start at $380k with mountains on all three sides, but thats only if you can find a home site! In the West, the building is just getting to the White Tank Mountains which includes Buckeye, Avondale, Goodyear, Surprise,the Baseline Cooridor, Tolleson and West Phoenix. Pricing is also very good if you can find a lot! If you are able to find a lot, you will need to invest another $30k+ to improve it. Shared wells are common with these types of properties. Landscaping, including the driveway and fencing the property can really add up.
